This is a strong argument! I really agree with the first one. In our day people are just awkward around the opposite sex, there is some kind of social awkwardness. From my understanding school is suppose to be a safe simulation of the real world to come. The real world is coed. Also I think that coed promotes diversity in thinking. As men and women we think differently and this can be used to sharpen each others minds.

I went to an all girls high school and my brother went to a co-ed one. I think that though I received a great education and appreciated not always having to worry about impressing boys, I still think that overall a co-ed education is the best way to go. It’s unnatural to segregate kids like that, just to throw them into university or real life and then have them not as comfortable with the opposite sex. Even though we had an all boys school to interact with, it’s not the same.
