Having been in the professional circuit for more than 2 years now, I myself see now as a person capable of making good and steadfast decisions so as to satisfy my management and other personal resolutions. However, I happen to notice many people faltering when it comes to decision-making. People, all of you need to understand that decision making is part of life and must be made with astute sharpness.
People who aspire to become or are leaders or who hold an authoritative position in their jobs are known to be good decision-makers. If looked in-depth, we can identify 4 major reasons for a person wavering while making decision. They are:

I took in some time to research on what all factors help a person get going well when it comes to decision-making. And, my efforts have been simplified in 6 steps.

Before you set about going for making decision, you need to be clear about the problem for which you are aiming to reach a decision upon. You can do this by simply writing out your problem on a piece of paper. You will be presented with an opportunity where in you can come to a positive conclusion. This is because the empty space in the paper will give you some hope on most occasions.
Evaluate the implications
Implications are common ground when it comes to making decision. Your decisions can have implications on you, your career development, your peers, your team and your management if you’re in a work environment. The result of the implications can have effects on your family too, positive or negative, depending on the decision. For instance; it can be either a promotion at work or job relocation.
Open outlook
Adopt an open outlook while having to deal with your problems. When you open your mind, you get presented with multiple avenues with solutions to solve any obstacle you come across. Having an open outlook towards things can mean a good thing for your personality development on the long run.
Be clear on your end result
It is common to see yourself waver when having to make a major decision that could not just have effects on you, but everyone else around you too. Set an alternative while going for a major decision. Keep yourself well informed of your choices. You can make choices related to promotion in your job if you have a clear perspective and an even equal outcome planned well ahead in your mind.
Pros and cons
Always learn to take into consideration the advantages and disadvantages of each of the options that are available to you. By doing this, you will be presented with faster methods of reaching at a sound decision. This will help you get propelled in life.

Once you have made yourself sure that you can press ahead after reading the above 5 steps, you can go ahead with your choice or course of action and initiate the necessary steps to make it happen.
At the end of the day, you will realize that decision making has always been within us and is no magic. You can enter into the realm of decision making and go on to become an effective decision maker when presented with situations pertaining to your capabilities.
