Facebook is also expanding it’s market value and services as well by acquiring new startups with great ideas and also their market base in short time span of a year or two and it’s really amazing Facebook leaves those sites serving their previous business to their already made clients as we have also seen in the case of friendfeed where Facebook said they are approved for serving their previous services until and unless FB team works behind the new idea.
Frind.ly is a social service allows it’s users to be involve in Question & Answer session in the funny and interesting way and that’s the reason they attracted millions of visitors and some great investors funding $5 million.
Now both the parties confirmed that they signed at deal but it’s a sad news for number lovers because they are not going to disclose the money Facebook invested in this project.
This is the message Facebook announced to inform all the commons regarding this deal.
We’re excited to announce that we recently acquired friend.ly, a Silicon Valley startup that created a really compelling way for people to express themselves and meet others through answering questions. We’ve admired the team’s efforts for some time now, and we’re looking forward to having Ed and his colleagues make a big impact on the way millions of people connect and engage with each other on Facebook.
While Friend.ly have a lot to share on this happening and where they also disclose that they will continue working on some other projects also with the Facebook team, being Facebook team.
