   Thank you for this post. I discovered online shopping when I lived in London and since moving back home to India I have noticed the increase in e-commerce stores. Of course everybody loves saving when shopping, especially online, so I started the website CouponSpy.in which has coupons and deals to all of the online stores you have mentioned in your article.

   Perhaps worth mentioning to your readers if they feel uncomfortable using their credit cards online or if they do not have one, is cash on delivery which is offered by many of the stores. You will only pay for your items when they are delivered.

          I am an avid online shopper for last five years and though there are many genuine and good online sites, I have to say the WORST site is no doubt TIMTARA. I am awaiting shipment for an order placed in October 2012. Till date (12.01.13), I have neither received the product, nor has the company cared to respond to my umpteen complaints. As an icing on the cake, all their customer care guys are illiterate, uninformed and rude who simply cut off the customer’s call half-way when confronted about such inordinate delays.

          Guys, please stay clear of TIMTARA at all costs.
